This post finds us down in my home town of Warner Robins. Charlie and I are attending a marriage conference this weekend in Birmingham and my parents are going to be watching the boys. I am so excited! We will not have any parental responsibilities for over 48 hours. This is the longest we have been away from both children since Noah was born. I am looking foward to being able to sleep until 8:00 every morning. I guess that might be possible if we don't have to be at the conference too early.
The best news is that finally everyone in our house is better! We have been sick now for over 6 weeks and it is a great feeling to not be giving doses of daily antibiotics and constantly wiping noses. I just hope that we stay this way for a while.

I love being a mother! Raising two young children can be challenging at times, but the Lord gives the strength needed daily to get through. The Lord has given me two precious sons to have for a short while. I must treasure every moment. Our days may be filled with cleaning up spills, changing diapers, wiping messy hands and faces, reading the same story over and over again, but all too soon they will be grown. I just pray that they grow up to be fine Christian young men.
