A Long Road Trip

We woke up Thursday morning to find out that school was called off and tons of snow on the ground. We made a last minute decision to go see my dad in Warner Robins who was having surgery that day. So, we braved the weather and took the long drive to WR. Micah was excited about the snow and got to play in it for a few minutes before we left. We surprised my dad at the hospital. He enjoyed having us there. The extra hands to help take care of him were appreciated. My mom and I spent a lot of our time shopping. We hit the 90% of clearance at K-Mart. It was AWESOME!!!

We left Warner Robins Sunday morning and made another long trip to see our friends David and Joanna in Birmingham. Charlie got to play with their children Elijah (3) and Libby (2). Seeing them play their toddler video game together reminding me of what it would have been like if Charlie and David knew each other when they were 3-years-old. They spent the majority of the weekend playing Xbox. The boys were great on the trip considering they were in the car for about 12 hours total over the week.

We are back home now and iced in for the day. There is lots of cleaning up to do from being gone for almost a week. I also have to baby proof. Noah is now crawling all over the place and his favorite thing to do is play in the dog's water and eat her food.
