We took Noah to the doctor yesterday for his allergy tests. They did ten different skin tests on him. He tested positive for dairy, oats and peas. So for the next 7 days he cannot have any food containing these three things. If he gets better within the next 7 days, then we know that he is truly allergic to one or more of these. If he does not, then I guess we start over and test for more things. If his symptoms improve over the next week, then I have to find out which one or ones he is allergic to. I have to do that by cramming his little body full of each one for a separate 24 hour period in attempts to make him have an allergic reaction. The doctor has also mentioned getting tubes in his ears and adenoids removed. That will be later if eliminating his diet does not prove effective.

Did the allergy tests hurt when they gave them?
I'm sure that they stung, but he was over it pretty quick. It would have been worse for Micah, because he would have known what was going on.
